Gotta be the same exact model..

Ok, so if you do... tell me something... I can't remember if I did see this, but doesn't the volume knob have a lit LED in it? (will save me some anguish to yank it all apart, just to realize it doesn't)

Can't you just pull the volume knob off and if there are wires wrapped around the shaft then valla you probably have an LED in the knob. :thumbright:

Well see... what usually happens is first I realize that I need some obscure tool or whatever to get it off. Then order it.. two or three times because some idjits will say it's in stock, then string ya out until you threaten the BBB with 'em...

Then by the time it gets here, I forgot what I was going to do... then by the time I remember, I'll lose the tool , and so it goes again..

It may use a small 1 to 2 mm allen wrench but a lot of the pre's just have the knob pushed on.

I owned a C-60 about 15 years ago and I don't recall it having a led in the volume knob or I probably would have kept it for that alone lol.

Yep, got one of them! Maybe I should put 'er up for a listen tonight eh?

Yep run the Emu through the AA and into the Yammie. Sit back with a brewski or two and enjoy. :thumbright:

Ahhh, the ole R-9. Nice one. This is my 2nd - I sold my 1st awhile back. This one's in really nice condition with the door still attached right (sure are a lot of 'em with it broken out there). Thing is.. the daggone memory cap is dead. Had the same thing with the 1st one, but can't get the "exact" part anymore to replace it.

Just a minor "nag" tho... sounds purty.

I'd have to look, but you can't miss it.. It's one of those "supercaps" that look like a typical radial cap, but squashed to about 1/4 high by about 1/2 inch in diameter. The rating is around 5wvdc with a .47F capacitance (that's F aka big "farad", not micro).
