Get The Led Out: I took out my original copy of Led Zeppelin IV on November 8th to help celebrate the 40th Anniversary of this album's release. I can't listen to "Stairway To Heaven" any more. Like The Eagles' "Hotel California" song, it's just way too overplayed to enjoy it any longer. I can't say that about a few Supertramp or Pink Floyd songs though.

For some it's a girlfriend past her stay, for others it's like steady regular loving I suppose.

To be fair, none of the classic rock/heavy stations here play Led Zeppelin a lot or the Eagles songs so much anymore either.

That hasn't halted the progress towards making us SICK of 90s-now 'modern rock' a travesty to us via hyperoverexposure.

It helps to come in at the last word singing 'Cleveland' though...makes the waiting fun.
