NOW they tell us! (More from the annals of useless medical researching...REALLY)

I was diagnosed with type II diabetes in 1996. I've been getting conflicting information for years on how to manage it. I've just resigned myself to having a short life, end-game blindness and renal failure. He who dies with the least number of failed organs wins!

I was a practicing orthotist (see Forrest Gump- I used to make those metal leg braces) and had to fill prescriptions for orthoses that were completely contrary to the patient's diagnosis. I'm convinced that despite a sound medical education, the docs really don't know what to do!

My brother-in-law was put on a strict low-sodium diet- until his electrolytes dropped to a near fatal level. Doctors changed their minds about that, too.

The whole idea is to wear yourself out so well that when the grey aliens get done drinking too much on Ganymede and come to reanimate us all they can do with you is toss you in the parts unit pile and hope they can find something later.
