I use em all the time, best thing besides totl Blackgates. Here's a link to an outfit that carries the whole line--- can't find it right now Outlook Express froze up. Google Handmade Electronics.

Been there done that. They have only one cap I can use. Thanks though.

The Pre. I'll just use the M-caps where I can and use the ones he sent. They are mostly radials. I had 4 people watching that big hunker. I'm taking a loss; but that is better than making it a trophy of my stupidity. LOL

Ah.... tubes....Im outta here!!
That was funny.

Having just swapped the coupling caps in a Response Audio Purity One (out with the oil cans, Ampohms and in with the Clarity Caps MR), I knew about the voltage but listening to that preamp fresh off the recap sure taught me alot about burn in. That sucker sounded terrible for a couple days.

Checking Nichicon's Corporate site shows only two Muse cap lines, the KZ and the ES. Neither of these has high voltage caps in the line up.

Check the listings as I only checked the For Audio Equipment section. http://www.nichicon.co.jp/english/produ ... pict_f.htm

Took me 2 grand and a set of Cary SLM-100 monos to find out I'm not a tube guy.
I much prefer them in the preamp stage since there are not the constant worn out expensive power tubes to replace. I've enjoyed a tube pre for years and have a pair of monoblocks needing something to make em work. Haven't listened to them much at all.

I used to prefer tube amps for some listening, but after hearing the White Oaked Phase Linear amps, I can't go back...the power from the Phas Linear is just so pure, powerful and sublime, all at the same time, I don't need that tube sound...the Phase is a combination of all the things that make Tube and Solid State sound so different...I didn't know SS could sound so sweet and musical...all the while having brute power waiting to back it all up.if that makes sense. I really had my White Oak Moment with a Phase 400 playing Diana Krall, believe it or not....The amp was cranking all she could, but I had that moment where I was there in the venue with her...every nuance of her voice, and every sound from the piano.....it was awesome...
