Nice looking PL 700 Series II on ebay

WOW... That is a nice one !!! Only about 3 hours or so from me !!!

Extremely nice! Only about an hour from me! Be interesting to see what it sells for. I just bought a Series II in November. Probably don't need another one right now. Do we know if Joe's new chassis works for a Series II rebuild? I seem to remember something about spacing on the back planes.

Since you mention- and I didn't look- I'm not far from where I-77 ends in SC- so he's not far from me, either. The seller is charging $95 for shipping.
I'm not bidding, have to pay other stuff for now. Just giving a heads up- this amp looks beautiful.

It appears there are problems with a Set II chassis When it comes to the backplsnes. It appears the chassis Is shorter By just enough to make installation impossible without grinding down the boards. However Joe's new chassis cure that problem. They are a universal replacement for all 3 700s. The Set Is require different heat sinks along with a new chassis.

No !!!! I sure don't need it !!!! I thought about that Jer !!! You will be right there next week !!

That was probably a nice deal at under $400.
