I just got her home the other day and tried her out yesterday. It has the crackling controls like the seller said but the real problem is that the left channel output is buzzy/distorted although the headphone output is GLORIOUS and hints at how sweet this set can be.

It's absolutely beautiful too! All the lights work, the panels, lid and face are just great and other than that it's superb.

I've though about running line out to an integrated until I can get it fixed as my Yamaha CA-1000 has a bad phono stage and this has two.

For the $20 I spent, it was still a real good bargain, just needs some care.

I like the looks of the Kenwood side panels on their gear and the blue light receivers are much better looking than the later units. That is a sweet unit for 20 bucks and a bit of repair will make it right.
