New Turntable Interconnects

Looking to update the connection between my turntables and pre-amp. I used the Mogami W2534 earlier this year to make new interconnects for the CD player and between the pre and power amp so would this wire be good for turntable hookups too? Any other suggestions more than welcome. Thanks

Last year, the last time I replaced turntable leads, I used some microphone cable because it was on hand. Sheilded two conductor, made two lengths and it worked well.

If that Mogami stuff is four conductor, probably overkill and phono leads do not need to be that thick. But if you've already got it, why not?
