The new tax tables are being echoed by many working people as a gift from Trump. But I do have a question; Now that people are going to be taking more home in their pay check, will this stymie pay raises to the people doing the physical work on the floor?

When I look at the very wealthy companies giving out a one-time $1,000.00 bonus that is being hyped by the government is, in my opinion, is a sad way to thank a worker. When you look at the yearly hours (40 hr. work week) a person works in a factory, a one-time bonus is less then .50 an hr. No guarantee they will receive another bonus down the line or a pay raise. We'll have to wait and see if this is a smoke screen or if raises will be a reality across the board for all of the working class.
