I bought it from a Tapehead, took 2-3 installments and cost over $450...WORTH IT. As close to like new as you could hope for.

Looks like you've been busy Steven! The 1250 is my favorite of the Pioneer's. Someday I hope to have another but I doubt it will happen. For now I have a Denon 3-head which gets used for a day or two every few months

Interesting side note on Slaughter. I went to HS with the bass player (the long-haired blonde guy on the right) and his name was Dana Strumwasser. He changed his name to Dana Strum after HS. He was, by the way, a very good bass player.

Went downtown to the thrift store and found a Sony DVD-VHS combo player for $7. Wanted to watch my tapes before I die or whatever, been years. Also a new set of 4 NiMH batteries and a charger at Staples, for my camera.

(No, none of the VHS or Beta decks I have are working well, have to fix them)

Wondered why nothing was charging, figured out there was a plastic cover on the negative terminals, BINGO.
