I mean, it would be different if it was a higher end Sony, at least a 3 header perhaps? But I don't think this one is. No mention of the type of transport either.

When it comes to unused NIB components, it's not uncommon to pay the retail price of that component when it was new.

I dunno man.. How long have they been sitting? Caps n belts are still going to go south, even (or hmm.. especially IF) unused. I wouldn't pay 182 for a mainstream 2 head deck nowadays, even if never opened.

But where's that warehouse... exactly.... (get's mah ninja outfit out of the closet.. heheh)

I'm surprised on that price too, Hmmmmmm (a sucker born every minute comes to mind). They have another CT-F555, and some nice amps and receivers. I bet those would be fine, quality parts back then, plug it in for a few days, smell that 'new amp' smell, just like when I bought my Yammie amp, that was sucha anice smell, better than a new car to me

Now belts on a tape deck should be pretty shot, or will be very soon.

NIB is like a virgin, so people go nuts. I could see if it was the TOL Equipment, but lowly equipment nope.
