and other than Yahoo and the news the forums I go to are fairly quiet.

Seems a shame. The man was free when he died and it was a good long life of 95 years and on top of that he changed a nation and a planet.

Maybe he would have liked that though. He was another human being like all of us, with a family and friends and we forget about those things.

The job's never done but he did his part...

I think sometimes we fail to realize how momentous the events we live through can be on a global, historical scale. Ending Apartheid was simply an amazing moment for Africa and the world. Mandela was a key figure in toppling a remnant to the past that had gone on far too long and helped shine a light forward with grace and dignity. He will be remembered forever.
