Need help!

I have a PL 400 that I absolutely love. I put in speaker protection, new and upgraded capacitors, but it's time for a rebuild as the unit died. NO ONE WANTS TO TOUCH THIS UNIT!! Is there anyone in the state of Oklahoma that will help me fix this unit??? I refuse to get rid of it!

It will not matter much if you have to ship it 50 miles or 500 miles, it is wicked expensive to ship these amplifiers and getting worse every day. I do not recall any techs in OK, so you may have to ship it to WOPL Sniffer or me.
You obviously want the Rev G1 Control Board. Do you also want the Backplane upgrade and all new output transistors?

Yeah, I won't touch them unless they get the FULL WOPL treatment. You have to really be attached to an amp to spend the cash on the 400. They just don't command the prices of the 700's after WOPLing and it cost about the same.

Partial upgrades give you a bad rep when the original parts give up the ghost, which they will sooner or later.

NOPE!!!! I like, and listen to my WOPL'd 400 most every day but I won't do partial upgrades. Read the first post on this thread...... Nobody will touch it. Me included unless it was a "Full Monty"

Michael, if your still reading these posts, I can attest that the expense and time of resurrecting your amp is well worth it. The White Oak upgrades are phenomenal and the gents above are masters with this gear. You will not be disappointed.
