How is the weather in BC? Much work? What about over by Calgary? You never know. Always keep all you options open. I don't need the govt. health care. I can still get VA care up there plus my pay. LOL Just thinking out loud. LMBO

Temps in the 80's in the summer although 100's can happen, and the farther east you go like Calgary, Alberta, the greater risk if tornado's in the late summer months into September, wicked cold in the winter, maybe just the ticket eh??

I'm just sad I'm thinking about it. Never even thought about if it is an option. Even Aus wouldn't be to bad. I'm scared. I won't say I'm well read. I just see things that scare me alot. I just don't get it. Why change something that people all over the world wants. It isn't my country it is our country.

Graham can tell us all a lot about the woes Australia has, no where is perfect anymore, even Holland has been over taken with right wing Christian freaks, they've banned weed in many smokeshops to non-netherlanders across the country that survives on pot smoking tourists for a major cash flow, WTF?? I bet prositition is next to be outlawed there, religous fanatics will kill us all, except me...who knows the secret....shhh!

I do like the weather on coastal BC. Don't even know if they will let me in. They wouldn't one time because of a DUI it is a felony there. Went to Quebec one time. Got lost. Tried to find the border. I was in Maine and I finally found the border in NH. LOL

Well I get to the border. The CMP comes out and asks for my drivers license. I had a FL one. Asked if I had any drugs. I said no. He asks to see my wallet. I have 10 100 dollar bills in it . He asks me to open the trunk. I do so. He searches everything. Finds nothing. Then he goes I'm bringing out the dogs. Now it is winter time so it is cold. I asked if I could go inside. He says yes. Well the dogs didn't find anything. So he goes we are going to search my car. I said go for it it is a rental. You better call Hertz. Well he goes out about 30 min.s later he comes back in. Tells me I can put my car back together. I told him it isn't my car. I then ask. Did you ask Hertz if you could search the car? He said no. LOL I said you better call them to put the car back together and bring me another car so I can leave. Guess who put the car back together. LMBO the CMP. I have other stories about that trip. Dumb farm boy in a foreign land. Lot is different in that Provence

Larry: You probably don't have to convince your wife into moving here, so you are already half way there, if you had the option to move.

Coastal B.C. would be a great place for you to live, even if you don't like seafood. I am biased, but many international travel magazines usually recommend Vancouver as one of the most beautiful cities in the world to live in. Even here in Squamish, just 40 minutes north of Vancouver, it's breath-taking for scenery. For those who have a professional career, jobs are available. There are many more opportunities for work in northern B.C., because of the growing resource-based industries.

But first, you should visit here. The internet searches can only do so much. rather than being here in person.

LOL I would have to convince Carly. She is a southern girl at heart. She isn't a big fan of CA. We did talk about it. I lived in Seattle a few years. Just thinking out loud at the moment. LOL
