Well I got mine today. It is a beast. Wood needs some oil; but other than that it is cherry. Everything lights up and spins; but not getting any output. I know what system this will be going with. Fast I hope yours looks as good as mine.

Going to have to clean and demag the heads. Yes I took a pic. The door is off. I took it off to make sure the heads and everything were working. Have to order the manual from Rick.

Larry

It sure is pretty.

I was looking around today. I thought I had seen it before. A working plain Jane 1000 for 2000.00. I had seen them go for that before. I thought I was mistaken. Guess I wasn't. I really thought I was dreaming when I saw that price. Can't wait to get the manual and start messing with it. Jerry if I can't find out what is wrong. How long before you make another trip? This thing weighs as much as my PL almost.

Retension the edge connector socket pins. The connectors are gold, so cleaning is fruitless. With a pointed tool, bend each finger towards the center of the slot just a bit, like leaning it over (not bending per se). This will probably restore sound. Pay special attention to the connector between the deck and the electronics. Manuals may be douwnloaded at Naks.com

Cleaned all the connectors and deox them. Still didn't work. So I started flipping the tape / source switch. The right channel started working. So I deoxed all the flip switches and she started playing. She needs some lube yet. Have to clean the heads and demag them. It is a sweet deck.
