Hey all
This one came from a friend, symptom was going full volume without notice randomly. So I decided to recap the whole thing, maybe 4 caps not changed due to lack of stock. Removed all that nasty glue off circuit board. Singing nicely now.

Used Vishay for main power Caps, excellent quality. All the rest were Nichicon, Panasonic and Rubycon
New Caps (Below):
Sounds fantastic, running for 36 hours straight, no problems. Running the BIC/RTR Exp12v's just in case it decides to go full volume. Pretty sure the problem is fixed. That nasty glue and 35 year old caps surely wasn't helping things.
