Whenever Deb burns me cd's they are always .wav's. MP3's suck unless they have a bitrate of at least 320
Depends upon the bit rate somewhat and also where you are listening. Mp3's are fine for on the go or in the car, but on a home system they definitely are lacking. They sound better at 320 or better bit rates, but the problem is knowing the source they were ripped from. If you start with a poor source of course the mp3's will reflect that.

A guy asked me about the 32bit DACs and CDPs. I told him I didn't know I had not heard one. I told him to come here he could feel free to ask questions. Really nice guy. Are the 32 bit better? I hate mp3s. He wants to have all the bells and whistles. USB, Coaxial, optical.
