More school violence...11 stabbed in PA HS, suspect in custody...

I saw that earlier this morning, said 6 people. Count has gone up?

That's what I said...stabbed with a handgun. :happy7:

We all know that guns are the root of all violence, right?

You can't just go using a knife to kill people.

Violence comes from within.
 
The Chinese don't have handguns...they stab. Not quite getting what you mean. Violence is violence.

I have the bad feeling that the kid that was stabbing them wasn't in a classroom nor were they in a spot adults could get to quickly or they were relatively skilled and gonzo, from the descriptions of the kind of wounds the victims suffered. It was not a simple bunch of slashings they were deep, nasty wounds. Maybe the kid was on drugs and freaked. Speculation is not all that good though.

Aha...just 15 minutes after the school open and he had two knives so classes weren't in session and a security guard ws also injured before he was tackled. Another smart, quiet, sorta friendly knifewielding sophomore.

Now it falls into place somehow.

This was actually my point.

It was meant to be a light hearted jab at the anti-gun crowd, who seem to think that if guns are taken away we'll all be happy and peaceful all the time.

Perhaps, in poor taste considering the unfortunate circumstances, and thus less likely to be perceived as humor.

For the record, I'm no gun nut. Until last weekend, I hadn't fired a gun in 15 years. Boy, that was fun. Turns out, I've still got it- always was pretty good with that stuff. I was surprised when I thought about how long it had been. Gotta get mine out sometime and play some more. (Have fun with that, Nav.)
