Alesis HD24 24-track hard disc recorder. Uses hot-swappable hard drives in place of 2” tape. Many hard drives come with it.

Tascam 122 Mk. III Sam went through completely. I have two but keeping the other one.

Kenwood KX-1030 #2. Worked when I got it then stopped. Nice condition overall. Purchased for restoration and recording use.

KX-1030 #1. This was gone through by ESL. Has new nos pinch roller and I did a full transport rebuild. They set it up for play only because of corrosion on the Dolby chip causing noise during recording. Because of the noise, they never set bias etc. it’s a play only deck.

Kenwood KD-5070 table with a full recap, new voltage regulator (with added heat sink) new speed trim pots, new anti-skate weight to accommodate the modern cartridge. Set up with test records and as good as this table can perform. Has the “concrete” plinth, direct drive yada-yada.

I also have:
KT-8300 tuner (working fine needs restoration and probably alignment) I may keep this as it’s the second best tuner Kenwood ever made. And they are known for good tuners in general.

KA-9100 integrated I got from the original owner. With rare wood case. Had a badly bent power switch lever so that was replaced. Unit was checked out by a tech at the vintage hi fi museum when the switch was replaced and cleared for use. It is 100% original including all caps. Knobs (currently off) have all been ultrasonic cleaned.

My table. Only the tonearm is left untouched on this. Everything else has been changed and/or upgraded. Unique constrained layer sub-plinth. Layered Baltic birch plinth with ebony veneer. Motor rides in billet pod with belt tension adjustment knob on the back. VTA adjustment wheel on the side. It has a fuse! Level lights up when powered on. Runs 33-1/3 only with dual belts on brass pulley. Etc. Build is detailed here somewhere.

Nak 670ZX Working but the meters are “stuck” tape path cleaned and demagnetized. All transport functions work. Only issue is the meters.

So, there’s a sampling. There’s more, such as a pair of ~1977 Kenwood speakers to compliment the stack.

If interested in something let me know and we’ll work out a price. I prefer pickup, particularly the tables, but whatever. Too much stuff and some drums need to go too.

Mirage dipole rear (I think) speakers. I grabbed these to replace the drivers in my Panasonic boom box but haven’t got to it…

And there’s the tuner.

I would think ESL would have them if so- they have NOS Kenwood pinch rollers in stock from 1977…

And no, they do not sell parts.

I don't know which IC was used in the Kenwood. But that's why I bought the second very clean unit, so it could be brought up to full potential.

One section of the manual shows a NE645B and the another shows a NE545B. Looks like both are still available
That Kenwood sure would look nice sitting next to its big brother, KX 1060
