It might give some competition to the old Sanyo JCX 2400K receiver I picked up last week. About the same vintage - late 70's. Nice gift, Lee!

Which test speakers will you use? I'll show a picture of my Sanyo and maybe even sound-test it this week. It sounds like someone donated their whole stereo system to you.

Well Nando, what was left of it after 4 kids, 2 wives and God knows what else.

FF, I have a Luxman L-85 integrated amp. The first piece of serious gear I tried to repair. I say mine because I had to buy it from the owner and give him a 400 in trade. It was VERY unforgiving of any component swapout that was not exact, liked probe disasters even less. I actually had it fixed 4 different times, but there was always something else to check or adjust, etc. I have finally concluded it was destined to be on the top shelf , ever staring down at the idiot who even thought you could fix something without understanding how it worked. Still there to this day...

The service manual was 6 pages and written to challenge even a factory trained tech. Pics of the beastie....

Lee: Your K Horns have been connected to many different power configurations through the years. I hooked up the Sanyo JCX 2400K receiver last night and let it run through an entire CD. I'll post in another thread about it.

Strange,,the stuff we called low priced or even Crap,,,is Beautiful and has Classic Good looks when Compared to the Junk that you see on shelves today
One thing is very consistent FF, the direction is the wrong way and I really don't see any flattening out of the trend.
