I read an interview that was done with my only customer. He said tapes were LOFI. I have been on a rant on facebook about LOFI. I Told them it Vintagefi. Then I posted this pic and told them it was a work of art. Do you own any LOFI? LOL

That turntable is freakin' gorgeous!! And I want that red Scream thing in the background

I've had many lofi pieces that made me happy, a York clock radio with the flip time thingies comes to mind, pretty nice lofi sound from a little box, wish I still had it! An old girlfriend had a Zenith Wedge system, pretty impressive IIRC

Some think my slabs were pretty lofi ..... :la: :knob: :la:

Stuwee that red thing is a 24 volt flashlight. My point was him saying that that tapes and decks were lofi. Yes I have to clean out my non working decks under the other bench.

Imagine that, I wonder why they still lay tracks down and Masters on such lofi as reel to reel?

Yes, I have lofi in the form of plastic-cased speakers for my desktop computer. Geri has lofi, too. It's a 54 week old Dell desk top that has a hard drive which has already failed. Any vintage stereo component that can last 25+ years with just regular maintenance is not lofi in my opinion.

This is funny. I have a lofi walmart system in my garage. LOL I thought it sounded good. Kept thinking I was crazy. Hooked up this system and the USB sound card killed me. LOL Bought it to listen to music while we painted. Has been playing for 4 years now. So if I couldn't hear the noise then I guess it wasn't there. LOL Had some powered speakers that I hooked up to my Walkman.

Hehe.. hey man, when I started getting back into all this audio stuff about 4 years ago, one of the first items I bought was my old BPC Sansui A-1200 amp. I have it and an A-1100P sitting collecting dust now. Thought they were real good sounders back in the day, but then of course I found out differently.. can't stand 'em now, heheh.

My first two oieces of equipment were an AM-FM transistor radio and a record player that didn't work till my step father gave me a manual and I fixed it. It had a wedge speaker that was in the box and you took it out so you could have stereo. Would have loved to have kept it. I'm sure it is at the landfill.
