Well, I mustn't be the only Linux-head over here now, must I?
Right now I got two older PCs, a Pentium 4 and 4 HT, running both Linux Mint 13.
Pretty smooth, need to get some compatible cheapo wireless cards, and I need to max out the RAM on the HT unit, but then it's ready to roll!
The Pentium 4 PC also has XP, just for video capturing (as Linux doesn't like my capturing devices too much it seems).
Who else here uses a flavor of Linux?

We're running this-here forum on Ubuntu right now, hehe. A good LAMPS stack can't be beat for performance, and this is coming from a typical microsoftie (gotta work on that stuff .. at "work" :glasses8:).

Welcome to our lil corner of the intertoobs, BTW...

Did you notice on his intro I backed off a bit? We must look out for our young ones. The beer mugs were nice though.

I've found Ubuntu to be pretty decent - about midway between making it too easy and having to be uber-geek. Runs and plays nice with other VM's in VMWare, too.

There's a special Siddebuurster drink... as far as I know, a few glasses and all your problems are forgotten... until the hangover
Oh, and alpaca's. There's actually someone who breeds alpaca's, and makes clothing out of their fur. If we're digging up Siddeburen-facts... :happy7:
