Clark Terry, virtuoso jazz trumpeter whose career covered over 900 recordings with the legends of jazz from the 40s into the 2000s and was a member of the Tonight Show band under Doc Severinsen, died February 21, 2015 in hospice care after entering with diabetic problems.
Terry worked with the legends of the music business, such as Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and many others as well as bands of his own, turning later in life to educating musicians.
