Broken beyond repair but highly affable
Donald 'Duck' Dunn, a member of Booker T and The MGs and a session musician of great repute died in Tokyo following a club date, alone in his sleep according to Steve Cropper, also playing that gig.

He received a Grammy in 2007 for the sum of his work. Dunn was 70.

He played on at least one Doobie Brothers record as well. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed in the industry.
