These may be a little out there for you. LOL I'm going to pull the Nak and put the Yamaha I got from England in the rack. I haven't recorded on it yet. I'm going to record all of Jeff Beck on a couple tapes and then also send the mix tape.

Are you sending Lee the Nakamichi RX-202, Larry? He will get a kick out of that deck and it's unique UDAR. Let him figure out what that means.

The Beckology is being recorded on some RS metals Jerry gave me. Wish I had my ORIGINAL manual for my deck. That is all I will say.

Larry: are you using the same Yamaha deck you used for recording on the Traveling Guitar Tapes?

No I got this in UK it is a special edition and wasn't sold here. It is a KX-580 Special Edition. Never sold in the states. They only quit making them a few years ago.

Nice! You sure do have a Yamaha affliction, as much as I have a soft spot for Pioneer decks.

For what I get for the money you can't beat the Yamahas. I have some nice decks. This one was the most expensive because of the shipping; but I had Alan ship it with an order. It was a little over 100.00.

Can't complain at that price, at all. I looked up the specs on it. You don't use NR for recording, but it has all the good NR processing, including S. Once you receive the Traveling Guitar Tapes, would you be willing to give a Traveling Blues Tape a go?

I'm ready when ever every one else is ready. I'm just now playing side A. Sounds very good. Jerry these RS metals are one of the nicer metals I have heard. I'm not a Type IV fan. When there are just some very good Type IIs for less money. Lee the tape sounds good.

Do you mean Radio Shack metal tapes? What am I missing, as I haven't heard "boo" about an RS metal cassette tape.

Send that Udar deck my way. :)
Web, if you were to guess, how many cassette decks do you think you already own? I'm going to guess 22. And that's on the conservative side.

I don't have any UDar decks or Naks for that matter. I'd put the number closer to 26 or 27. If I ever felt good enough and had enough energy I would sell 15 or 20 of them. :)
