Hi Larry,
That is an excellent price for a near $900 meter. I would go for it except I think I have three of them now. Are you sure it works or not? I think the going E bay price for that would be $150- $250. This one is in good shape looks wise.

Hi Larry,
These unit are pretty robust but they can have a minor problems due to contacts.
I have been asked to sell one of mine for a lot more than you are trying to get rid of yours.
Really, it is such a wonderful item I fail to understand why you would part with it especially as you try to design a tape deck of your own and should have one to test your new deck with as well as other test equipment. The fellow I know who may still be looking for one I will ask if he still needs one and send him to this site.

Trust me Sam I'm not the tech on the cassette deck. I can fuddle around and things. I have just about all the equipment I need to do what I know how to do. I have forgotten so much it isn't funny. I have a computer program to set speed and every thing. That is all I knew how to do with the W&F. I have no tapes or anything just a 3000hz tape to set speed. That is someone elses department. I can solder build cases and do my face plate designs. That is here I know my limits.
