Hi Lee,

Where will you most likely use the new ICs Larry sent you? And the dB meter is a dangerous new toy because you will be constantly trying to best your last top number. Looks like you are still warming up at just over 92 dBs. My dad used to snore louder than that.

Nando.

I told you I run some big wires. LOL Did I put the power cord in also? You can keep the Grant Fidelity. LOL Really I need to get shorter runs on the Taras. Do Not Cut The Ty-Wraps. I'm still trying to feed wire in the tonearm. That will be next. Soon I hope. The SPL goes to 130 db I think.

Yes it does Larry, but it's only rated at 15 amps, I'm thinking I pull more than that, but we'll sure put it through it's pace.

I have some equipment on mine. Haven't did a breaker yet. Use the amp one for the amp. I think you may surprised. All on my equipment I have spread over 4 of them.LOL Just try it. It may not make a sound difference; but health wise on the components. I thing it is good. I like things efficient and work at its capacity. The CBs help alot for piece of mind.

That's some serious cable  How come the speaker wire is so skinny?? And is that a piece of cassette tape I see in there?

The speaker cable I use on the slabs is thicker than those and it's multi strand copper, let's all the goodness thru :cherry: I'm not sure who made my cable, but it's old and came with the speakers when mom bought them. She said she was going to get the amp he was using too, but it was too big and heavy to move, she said it was black with big blue meters and lot's of guys there were drooling over it, bummer eh?

I hope that stuff is drinkable. I can't remember if it's good stuff or swill. I know there is some good bourbon produced in Virginia (and some REALLY good untaxed liquor) so I'll have to try to send you something too. Do ya like 'shine? I might be able to get some of that. If we're lucky maybe some blackberry (my favorite)....or should we stick with bourbon and other whiskey?

I am or was very careful with shine. Some people would run it through radiators and they were soldered with lead solder so you would get lead poison. Not good.

The first time I tried moonshine was the same night I baled out of my 1977 Ford Hiboy at 30 MPH and never spilled a drop out of my cup. I rolled 3 times and slid at least 100 feet, popped up and screamed at Jani--" Wanna see it again???" She was driving and would not stop to let me out, so out i went. I will say the streets were snowpacked and the barditch wasn't that deep.
