I just might have some brand new 50 year old replacements for that terminal strip. I'm not sure how many terminals that one has in the photo but I have some 3 and 5 terminal strips in my hand right now.

It's gonna cost money THAT I know for sure. Resistors will be in today. We'll get that mess on the back wall cleaned up then put it on the AP and see where else if anywhere we have to go. It's been fixed 1 or 2 times before so this may be it.

Thats great news Lee. Do you think she needs recapped? Also do you think that the thermal event was caused by my running out of her to Lickety Split and back to her? I did that so I could run two sets of speakers?

You may have PM'd Lee about this but if you rerouted the amplifier output back to a preamp input that would be a bad thing. You should diagram that one out.

Thanks Dennis. Thats what I was doing so I could use A and B speakers. I did ask Lee about it too. So I'm gonna hook up two amps instead. What is diagraming out?
Nav, on that Marantz as in the Spec 1 also, there is a provision in the pre to do speaker switching. The amp out is brought back to the speaker selection board and handled from there.
