Part I, the Thorens debacle is old news, and will be sorted soon, thank you Jim and Larry for helping me figure it out (and anyone I forgot).

Part II, things were going pretty smoothly, taping away but every once and a while I'd flip the Lp and no sound anywhere. I could put my ear near the cart and hear a faint sound. I freakin' start pushing buttons, I'm a manly man, I can figure this out :naka: :ogre: :naka: nada....zip....zilch....break time, shut everything down for a couple hours.

Part IIIlater, power everything back up, gotta try the Pioneer TT, WooHoo sound issues forth, start taping again :thumbright: Drop dead gorgeous 'Crime of the Century' MFSL, heavenly...on to Pink Floyd MFSL  big 'ol shiteatin' grin!! Put in another MA-XG for some Abbey Road MFSL...screech, grumble, fart! The Teac was hungry, the old problem is back, it's a muncher :angryfire: I go to bed.

Part IV, this morning, maybe the Teac was just getting hot in the transport area again, I should be able to squeek out a couple more before it happens again, Nope... Munched another MA-X, GRRRRR! So F this crap, I get the Denon from the bedroom, problem solved right? Hehe, stay tuned, no sound again from the Pioneer TT!!!

Part V I call Dale, WTF dude? He says "You didn't move it properly and level the table, you are triggering the mute sensor" ($150 part if they have one) , I'm re leveling now, wish me luck! I hope I didn't F up that sensor.

The damage shown below. luckly, if you buy quality, you get quality, I just have to take them apart, snip out the begining damage, put it in the hub and viola, just a little shorter in length.
It's all fixable. I'm keeping a stuff upper lip :pirate:

Yeah, hot rod it! , seriously, I don't know what it is, Sam is gonna have to take her for a spin and see what's up. IIRC he hasn't seen too many of these, fingers crossed it's not a biggy.

Web I wouldn't dare send you a munched tape, I owe ya a nice one :D , I need to learn how to fix these anyway, I know how to take them apart, but I'm not sure about the clip on the hub that holds the tape there, any idea's anyone?
