Hi all.
Just found you guys after searching for info about my D500. I purchased it new after selling a 400 and then a 700b all back in the 70's. I worked for a local Hi Fi shop in the Philadelphia area back then. Still have a 4000 also. They have been sitting for years and it is time to dust them off. I already received some good info from some members here.
