I've not logged in for about a year- maybe more. Got a PM from fishoz poking me because I haven't posted/contributed for a while.

Lots of shit happened during the year, my sister fell and broke her hip, so it had to be replaced. My nephew lost his leg below the knee (diabetic complications), and that had to be replaced, too. My niece crashed her car (yet another thing to be replaced). I'm still waiting for that damned cat to drop dead, too (the fleas this summer have been unbeatable...).

Anyway, still been out buying records here and there, still have a scad of 78s to enter on Discogs. Done a few minor upgrades and repairs to the home as well. I also have yet to order new cylon meters for the PL400, and as I recall, I still owe someone my non-functioning PL3000 (sorry 'bout that!).

The year wasn't really too bad for me, but everyone around me seemed to have a lot of disaster. I really didn't expect my sister to live to spring- she had some real bad issues.

My biggest problem was the throwout bearing on my clutch and the AC compressor.

I know I missed a lot- this is such an active group with lots of stuff happening- I'll dig through the threads and catch up on what I've missed.

Those damn videos sucked me in like a moth to a light bulb. Since June i now have three pl400's, a sweet 700b from Lee & a couple Pl4000's. All waiting for some love. I need to stop buying 'Parts or repair' Pl junk long enough to send Joe a bunch of dough. But it's so harrrd. Now I want a Pl8000 turntable.
