Just curious. Anyone out there have a decent reel to reel they wouldn't mind parting with? I'd prefer one of the "big'ins" i.e. with the 10" reel capacity.

(I'm nuts.. but hey... :cyclops: )

Why don't you get a hold of Sam here on the forum. A couple weeks back I know he had a couple decks either ready to go or almost ready.

I'm pretty sure it does, I haven't used that feature, I know the Fostex does, it even has sync dump

I am pretty sure it does but with the photo on the small laptop screen its hard to tell... Cool meters if nothing else, and big reels too!

Just had to plug my RTU-11. recently acquired the RT-2044 4 channel head block and another TAU-11 tape pre-amp section, full 4 track capable now, synch, dub, and god knows what else. the amount of bias/eq adjustment accessible from the front panel is a great feature.

Jeez Lee, What a Beast!! Love it :thumbright: Absolutely Rightous Rig :love10:

I read that Pink Floyd did some Quad recordings in the 70's and that the reels sound awesome, you better get busy building another set of kornerhorns buddy :blob7: :whax: :blob4:

I love your Pioneer R2R, Lee. I don't know how you could top that machine with another of the same vintage. I couldn't imagine quadding with four 121dB SPL Corner Horns! I have only a few quadraphonic 7' pre-recorded open reels to play, but haven't tried it, yet.

Nando.
