A friend on another forums site sent me a Pioneer CT-F500, 650 and two identical model Aiwa cassette decks that arrived today. We talked on the phone about how he was thinning and had more to give me...

The reason this thead is HERE is this:

He said he's sending me a PIONEER REEL TO REEL FREE, either possibly a 1011 or a 707!

Some come and others go. I change the setup now and then as well. The '500 is for somebody else and a debt payment at that. the '650 needs a belt or two and will go straight to work. I haven't tested the duplicate Aiwas but they are going to go out in at least one system to sell when they are ready.

The '650 is simply GORGEOUS.

Glad to hear that you are rotating gear and moving it along. Now we just need to get you a faster computer. :rabbit:

I've still got the other Dell Dimension and the EVO plus 4 other chassis, two or three of which will probably start up fine.

My MOUSE is toast! I could build an AUDIO-VIDEO SERVER with a few parts and 500 GB in drives (and the right antivirus as my Windows Server can't be used with AVG FREE)...

More joy...I'm off the ACTOS (diabetes) and another pill that was really pesky so that leaves me with ONLY

INSULIN

STATIN

ONE PSYCH MED

My glucose is at a stable and good level and my 14 day average reading went down about half a hundred points and hopefully the A1C will continue to drop...I'm almost recovered to where I was before the hospitalization last July and I've dropped two pants sizes from 48 to a snug 44 and shrinking.

I've still got to sell a turntable and keep working.

What kind of mouse do you need? PS2 optical or will a USB optical work? Maybe you want a wireless usb optical? I'll see what I have.

Still working on a different computer for you. I have some multi core cpu's I need to dig through, can possibly whip together something better then a single core though. I'll see what I can do in the HD arena also.

Honestly, I'd settle for the old rubber ball kind. This thing used to only light the end when it moved and it's on 24/7 now and tracks the blue yonder sometimes. I used to have a well over 20 year old SERIAL mouse from a 286 that was better. It's even worse since I've had to bonk it over and over to get it to free up and go.

Sorry, I didn't get to it last night, but I'll round up a few mice and send them your way. Probably not be till this weekend though. I think I can send you a lifetime supply.:rabbit:

I've got about half a dozen or so mice that I'll ship out today. There is one ball mouse three or four optical, both ps2 and usb and one wireless ps2. Use em or toss em as I don't need em anymore as I use all wireless usb keyboards and mice.

Thank you!

Now, does anybody know anybody that needs a really decent Technics? I have more bills than cash by about $70 and it was to be fixed and sold all along.

Ok, package went out today with 6 mice in it. Some used some new, all should work. I also included about 30 3.5 inch floppies if you have a use. Otherwise toss em.:rabbit:

I save floppies like cassettes...I have three Mavica cameras that use them. You see them in my posts every day!

I still have 8 Inch Floppy disks :) Plus a boat anchor which I refuse to part with (Yes it works....boots off floppy, no hard disk and 8086 power!). How about a balless mouse that is not laser tracked?

Looks like a big breasted mouse to me! Seems to me it should be ball-less. :laughing9:

So you have an eight inch floppy and it isn't hard - just what are you trying to say? You boot your floppy? Damn dude - you're one tough nut!

:blob3::blob3: <----if only the mouse breasts did this. Yes the ladies like the 8 inch but just not the floppy part, and 3.5 inch "hard" type disks just don't do it for them. ROFL
