Joni Mitchell hospitalized...and the coma thing is a RUMOR, not true!

She was placed in intensive care, was alert but no other details were disclosed
about her condition.

I had heard that her health was in decline. Hoping for a quick recovery.

"Joni was found unconscious in her home this afternoon. She regained consciousness on the ambulance ride to an L.A. area hospital," the statement said.
The 71-year-old is awake and in "good spirits," according to the statement. "Light a candle and sing a song, let's all send good wishes her way."

I was HOPING you would have found a better link than that...

This whole thing was a big rumor caused by a misunderstanding over a friend of Joni's being granted caretaker's rights for Joni should she become sick again.

She is still doing fine and awaiting eventual release from the hospital.

If TMZ had actually done some homework perhaps this could have been avoided.

They STILL have the original story up with n o corrections.
