Very sad news to hear. Deep Purple just toured here earlier this year. This has been a year of famous actors and musical artists passing on to the next stage of their careers.

RIP,,,,I used to work at O,hare field as a Limo Driver ,had to be late 60s,,Deep Purple was Playing the Chicago Stadium and had their Tour Jet a Boeing 707 painted Deep Purple parked ay Butler Aviation Terminal

Nando, Jon retired from Deep Purple in 2002 and created some classical tunes and such. He wouldn't have made it to that show likely.

Kitty Wells, country singer famous for her Hank Thompson response tune, "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels" (Wild Side Of Life) also passed today into her 90s
