I've been rebuilding my collection of vinyl. (Lost in a fire). When I was working in Germany in the 80's I purchased a Pioneer sound system along with a Teac X-2000R. Last year it fried while I was listening. Couldn't be without it! I found one for sell and purchased it but I still wanted MY original one so of I went buying parts. I came across an X-1000 and though I might get working parts from it and realized I could fix it quicker than I could the original, and I did. Still on the quest to fix tho other one I got the parts I needed and it works quite nicely. Now I'm trying to restore my Pioneer CT-50R cassette deck.

Welcome aboard olman944,
Really sorry to hear about losing your vinyl in a fire, each LP is a time machine in itself.
You will find an incredible group of very knowledgeable, talented, and interesting people here at Phoenix.
I had a Teac A-4300 with auto-reverse in the 70's and had so much fun with that machine. It was the party favorite because of the length of uninterrupted music I could record and play back for hours with the auto-reverse. I really fell in love with the Reel to Reel format.
Many of my LP's are in pristine condition because I played them once or twice and put them on tape immediately. Then I could also edit out
any "clunkers" on the LP.
It was a beautiful deck but the X-2000R is a super deck, glad you are on your way to restoring that one now.
Enjoy, and welcome to Phoenix.

Welcome aboard.
I have a X1000 myself.
Good units , hope you can get your other unit working again.
Sorry to hear about your loss , the original pressings are usually the better sounding versions.
I have been disappointed with some of the reissues being put out now.
