John Warren "J." Geils, Jr. found dead in his hone at 71...

J. Geils gave his name to the famous blues rock band of the 70s and 80s and contributed the guitar lines to the bands albums for many years. He was often overshadowed by lead singer Peter Wolf but without him the band would not sound the same in those years.

No details were released as to the cause of death.

Sad, just saw Peter Wolf in concert Saturday night, guy still has it, moves like a teenager, and his voice is as good as it ever was.
