Dorman, bassist for the legendary late 60s psychedelic rock band, was found in dead in his automobile, apparently on the way to a doctor's appointment.

No signs of foul play were immediately evident and it's believed he may have died of natural but unknown causes.

Bummer! I saw them on a reunion tour about 15 years ago at the Colorado State Fair w/Steppenwolf, Mitch Ryder and Creedence Clearwater Revisited. Didn't stay for the CCR set. Met Iron Butterfly keyboardist Doug ingle after their set. real nice guy. seemed glad to be there. lee Dorman also produced the 1st Black Oak Arkansas album.
