But why dude? It's a 4-track simule unit, Dale's Fostex E2 RtR has the same features, not usable onless you broadcast from a radio station or play with mixing, for the $'s it might go for, buy it, 4 pretty meters are better than 2!

Hi Larry,
I bought one of those too for cheap. It can be used for a 4 to 2 mixer.
Plus they can be a treasure of parts. Chances are you could fix it I bet.
Probably needs a belt. This unit can allow you to make double speed cassette
tape from a 4 channel reel deck directly. Just think, you record a regular stereo
reel tape the same length of the cassette, put it on the reel deck and set for the higher speed so that it is double and patch all the wires to the correct channels and then hit play and record on the cassette. The result will be a regular speed cassette copy of the reel all transferred at the same time at double speed. This is how double speed cassettes should be done. If nothing else you can part it out probably over time for 4 times the cost.

Hi Sam

I wished I had bought it ; but it wasn't in the stars. I have a loader here that is from hell. LOL I just can't get it going right. So I have to buy another. Phoenix is starting to get a following. I'm getting questions from people about decks from ebay. LOL Another will turn up.

I've got all the parts and still have to put together my A-2340,

If I want to mix down to 2 channels I have a Peavey MD-16
