This is really interesting.
I've been collecting vinyl since 1964, and was so distraught when CD's came in, and it was virtually impossible to find many new releases on vinyl. I never was a cassette guy, ( I was down the Reel to Reel rabbit hole however, love that format) and when an album was released on cassette, it was always released on vinyl too, so no slowdown to collecting vinyl then. Frustrated me to no end in the CD era.....and many of my friends sold their vinyl, as they drank the CD Kool-Aid. I held on to my vinyl, and lo and behold....it has made a 10 year comeback, with no end in sight. Any life long collection, but music in particular takes us back to that time when we first heard the music, and I know many of you on the Forum know exactly what I mean....yes, "it's all about the music".
Thanks for sharing that article/video.
