Navo, I just found that site tonight after googling about the intro to "Big John is my Name". It was a mixture of Spanish and some original words and I could never get someone to translate it. I had posted about this on the eagle forum I frequent and one of the gals googled it, thenI did. fascinating forum where sonme of the bandmembers posted. Still love most everything Rare Earth ever did, and they stiill get a lot of playing time here....

Wrong song....it was "Smiling Faces" off the "Ma" album. One of mt all time favorites...,

Now if you go to You Tube and search for Impact Of Brass, you will get several 2012 clips with some white-haired gentlemen and the drummer playing a TAMA kick drum, set maybe.

Same band? Probably, but I didn't see any descriptive text in the first video I checked...it looks like somebody just posted them quickly to get them out.
