Hrrm that is something I forgot to mention Doug, and also a good idea. Especially if you have any video needs. I used to run a Denon AVR 1800 series into my pre amp via the zone out and use it for anything and everything really.
I only use this receiver for audio and hope to use it as my pre when I get a 2- channel amp for the kit. I use the 3 A/V loops for my open reels and the MD and Tape for my cassette decks.
