there is also something from that same period called a paragon---last one I saw sold went for 18,000.00 circa 1969 or 70 if I remember right.

One of the videos shows the JBL's being driven by Crown D-75R or 0 ? amps, tied to what looks like an active crossover. Did you guys see that video? I'll try to find it and put the link up. Very interesting stuff. No measurement equiptment that I can see though...and the place looks a lot like my house...kinda piles of audio stuff everywhere...

What are the amps and crossover? Anyone know?

And that crazy seller has to put that horrific foam padding on to keep his dysfunctional sons from damaging it

Not a bad price, makes me miss my Pilot console, while not as nice looking, would rings around it soundwise

found one of these in the trash once, water damaged, full of bugs and termites. looked like it was sitting outside for 20 years. speakers still worked and sounded great! BTW, this guy is local to me, he is a super asshat and is not plaesent to be around. down here in south florida, stuff like this is still commonplace and pops up all the time! most of you guys have seen my collection. i get everything locally.
