I dig the kind with skates and a helmet, not the raking kind

The original post seems to have fallen as well.

I wish I knew who's getting howdied. I thought maybe they started this thread and were removed, leaving Lee the starter by default.

The main hockey fans I'd know would be braxus, Nando and Broonsbane so another Toronto fan must be a good thing.

I started this thread, and yes, I am a fan of the Toronto hockey team. It's one of my more humble pursuits, along with trying to fix my old stereo that my wife wants me to put to the curb. Not much else to say.

Well welcome to Phoenix anyway :p , I'm not much of a hockey fan, although my UofA Icecats seem to play pretty well for desert rats :albino:

No vintage gear to the curb please, we have a parts/spares system for all old things, including our fearless mods

I have a Pioneer CT-F9090 Cassette Deck (it will take parts from a CT-F9191).
I need a little tiny plastic piece out of the Fast Forward Idler Assembly.
If you hear of one, please let me know.
Thanks!

Welcome aboard LeafsFan! It's always good to hear of other members who love their NHL teams. You might suspect which team I'm a fan of, being from the wet, west coast. A few of us have Pioneer CT-F9191s, but no parts decks that I know of. But, there's a vintage audio store you may wish to contact who deal with these decks n Surrey, British Columbia. It won't hurt to e-mail Gordon to find out whether he has the piece you are looking for. http://www.iavscanada.com/index.htm

Nando:
I just sent them a quick note.
I had no idea that there was a shop like that in Canada (although they're on the opposite coast).
Love the photo.
Which west coast team? Canucks? :)

You'll find lots of interesting items on the IAVS Canada site. Check out some of the articles, as well, on their home page.

Canucks fan...you bet! Came close last season. I'm watching tonight's game vs Calgary. 4-0 for Vancouver in the 2nd.

Nando, that link to Innovative Audio was pure gold. Bob is sending me the part today. Thanks ever so much. Your Canucks did well last night. Larry, I'm going to keep the address for Oak Tree in my back pocket. Thanks for that as well!

I'm happy that worked out for you. I know how tough it can be to find small, individual parts, rather than a complete donor deck to part out.
