I am a huge fan and have several cases ful and a bunch of blisterpacks of the old redlines. Nitty Gritty Kitty's are probably my favorite casting, here's a few... orange, blue and red, two are the desireable white interiors

and more...

Heisse Rader (german) Skyshow set

I could do this all day LOL

Noticed in your pic of the explorer that you had a few hot wheels behind the glass in the cabinet. Figured you probably collected those too.

I am not a collector but have been looking for one of the 1990 Civic Hatchback model. Also have the Kiss and AC/DC hot wheels trucks.

The ones you see in that picture are Debbies... she collects old Ford models of Hot Wheels. She also probably has one of the largest "bike" collections of Hot Wheels I have ever seen. That includes a TON of Rrrumblers that were made by Mattel in the early 1970s. I am not a collector of the new stuff... I stopped back around 2000 when the 48 car lineup ended up over 117 with the variations. Put the brakes on at that point so I stick to the original redlines and 1973 and before Matchbox. I have boxes and boxes of blisterpacks from 2000 back to the 80s. I still have a bunch of Treasure Hunt's but don't bother looking anymore, especially now since they went to regular and "Super" versions. Now the TH's have no distinguishing marks. You have to look for the real rubber tires like the old Real Riders line from the 1980s

I can keep an eye out for the Civic for you, I have seen them at Walmart if the one below is the one your referring to

Yep that is the one I'm looking for Ron. Thanks for the offer, but I already have a connection at Toy's R Us, looking out for me.

That model Civic was my first car. Only owned it and my truck.

Honestly man, that's another reason why I left the hobby, drive everywhere checking stores for certain models and they are already pulled out of cases before they hit the pegs by scalpers with store connections. I could tell you stories back in the late 90s when dudes were pushing kids out of the way to get at the cars, Many fights broke out also. How about before a store even opened people were lined up waiting for the doors to open and you'd see a bunch of grown adults running as fast as they could to the toy department. It got old fast for me

Yeah I could see that. There still is quite the craze around them. Like I said I'm not a collector.

Debbie likes Fords? A little OT but here is a couple shots of my truck after I had it fixed up.

Sweet! A couple years ago, we sold Deb's Dad's 1967 Ford Camper Special. I wanted to fix it up but the body was really shot. Had carb issues also, sometimes you'd be driving it and flames would come out from under the hood LOL. It had a granny low that could rip trees out of the ground. Our old Jeep J-2000 w/ a rebuilt 360 under the hood saw a lot of duty ripping stumps out of the ground, granny low gearing is FUN w/ 4 wheel drive

That would have been a sweet ride Ron. The body was pretty shot on this thing too before I had fixed. Mine is equipped with the I6 300 4.9L, and its a 2WD manual 4 speed OD. Dont do too much stumps and such with it. Its great on fuel for long hauls with the boat though. Gets better gas mileage than my buddy's 2012 F150 with a 5.0L.

Here's a couple shots of pre and during the resto.

Very nice! The Camper Special looked like your third image EVERYWHERE. That inline 6 is pretty much indestructible. Good job man! Both our pickups were just too rotted out and we don't have the income anymore to be able to do restos. We still have a 1985 Firebird Trans Am in the driveway slowing rotting out, last time I looked, the whole undercarraige was looking bad. Brakelines are toast, exhaust laying on the ground. Body and interior is not bad though. She keeps it around for sentimental reasons but probably in 10 years, I will be able to sweep it up slowly and get rid of it in the garbage dumpsters LMAO. We cut the original hood out to put a shaker on it from an earlier model. During the hurricane, a tree branch came down on it and punched a small hole in it so the carb and intake is pretty bad, throttle linkage is frozen up... still a good parts car or platform for a groundup resto for someone who can afford it. At least once a month, somebody stops and asks if it's for sale. Probably this Spring I will convince her that it has to go while it still has some value

Great stories and cars bro's :blob::happy6::blob:, once I can integrate my 'puters I can post some pics again.

I feel very bad about not being able to get to Phoenix to see Lee and Jani :sad4:, I have a very special Hot Wheels for the Lee'ster and I hope he will proudly display it on top of his rack!!
