George here,
Amateur Radio Operator AB2KC
Working at Brookhaven National Laboratory
Just Rebuilt 2 PL400 Series 2, 1 400 series 1, and a 700W series 1 (In process)
All with Relay Boards, New PS Capacitors, recapped/ or new boards.
Designed my own 700W series 1 relay Board... using the UP1237 chip, and the two 48V Relays.
I tested the white oak 700W...offset needs to be approx. 10V for the relays to engage, I wanted something less than 100 mV, and with the power up delay separate. I did the board the same way as the White oak, but added the chip and regulator to power the chip only. Same overall dimensions, and speaker post mounting locations.
Getting the boards made from Express PCB. Should be fun to see that work!
