I seem to remember getting some test tapes from someone back in my TH days, I don't remember if they were 3khz or what, I'll look around, you're welcome to them I don't have the test stuff to use them properly anyway.

BTW, isn't the white noise between radio stations supposed to work in a pinch?

Hey Larry..

If you already have a deck with the speed set good (or damn well good 'nuff), then use daqarta as a sig gen. Set it up for 3K then record it on the known good deck. Then play it on the one you are adjusting and tweak it right in.

I did the same thing for this (bloomin) GX7 the other night. Worked great.
