That's a heck of a lot of speaker for $1500. Is it $1500 for 1 or the pair?
Would you make the cabs?

It is a pair. Use to do it; but has been years. I would have them built. Yes he has some pretty decent stuff.

I have never heard an open baffle. If I did these I think Rosewood would look nice with a gloss finish. I think there would be some bass involved.

That V-2 is pretty freakin' awesome, would've been great for my old place, I don't have the space for them now.

Larry, did you settle on a design to go with, or are you still waiting on folks to submit orders? i'm not in the market for parts, just wondering if you had an eta for the new speakers to be in service.

The cabs for the V2 are 2000.00 done in Rosewood. I am saving up for them. I lost a big sale so I am saving. LOL Think I will try the open baffle though.

i see. i do like the look of Danny's open baffle speakers. i would be willing to bet that they could hold their own up against similar designs such as the Linkwitz, so i'm very interested to see where this leads.

Well now that I have the tools. I have to practice first. I think I will build these. If I do I will move these to the Carys and move the Vandys to the PL. Think I will do walnut for everything. With a hand rubbed finish.
