It's an SK-31 and has a nice looking set of controls on the 'loaded deck' (I KNOW, don't go twisting knobs and pushing buttons on a loaded deck) :lovestory:

Pics, and about 37 bucks when the $15 meets shipping.

(now the stupid social security no. etched on it is gone)

Nice.... The SK-71 is such a nice, warm sounding BBox at low and medium levels. Great tuner and nice looker, too... Good luck getting your 71 fully operational again. And that donor box in your photos doesn't look bad either.

I hope the original owner and their next of kin weren't affected by the seller showing the cat's SSN engraved in the body that I wipid over in Photoshop...WHY do they DO THAT to themselves?

Being ex Nav myself, I think it was S.O.P. back in the day to do that to anything of value you wanted to keep.

But it wasn't like identity fraud could spread like lightning over FIDONET or USENET...we live in a lot different times.
