Good ole TDK MA's

Using one of these guys now on the Denon. Lots of good tight bass. Crisp highs. Low distortion. I love these things. Too bad I only have a few I scarfed from a CL deck visit where I popped that "So, why are you getting rid of your tape deck?" question.. which leads to the "Did you have any old tapes you'd like to get rid of, too?" question.

Damn nice tape, my Teac loves'm, I dig the MA-XG's better, they just feel so right in your hand, nice and heavy

Does your Denon have the auto bias? And the fine tune as well?

Not auto, just fine tune. It's a pretty basic 3 header but it does sound very good to the ears (yep, I'm listening to your tape I have to get in the mail to you... again... hehe)
