The inmates were in a holding cell with a flimsy lock and the jailer had a heart attack. Hollering for help didn't bring anybody and even though they feared that they would be met with several guns drawn they set out to break from their cell, handcuffed all, and help their jailer.
No shooting happened, and when they used his radio to call for help the man was saved by CPR. Despite the 'escape attempt', all are grateful to the inmates.
